This is a special combined preparation of the water soluble vitamin B complex and vitamin C. It is available as a sterile, lyophilized mixture of the vitamin ingredients in injection vial for i.v infusion.

Comp: Each vial contains- vitamin Bl (as thiamine mononitrate) BP 2.5mg, vitamin B2 (as riboflavin sodium phosphate) BP 3.6mg, nicotinamide BP 40mg, vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride) BP 4mg, pantothenic acid (as calcium pantothenate) BP 15mg, vitamin C (as sodium ascorbate) BP/USP 100mg, biotin BP 0.06mg, folic acid BP 0.4mg and vitamin Bl2 (as cyanocobalamin) BP 0.005mg.

Dosage & admin: Adults & children age 11 years & above: One vial (10ml) daily.

Children below 11 years of age: Children wei¬ghing less than 10 kg should be given 1ml of the dissolved mixture per kg body weight/day.

Children weighing 10 kg or more should be given 10ml (1 vial) of the dissolved mixture/day. Preparation of the injection:

The content of each vial of injection should be dissolved first and then diluted for infusion only. The content of each vial are dissolved with water for injection, or glucose solution for infusion (5%-50%), or normal saline (0.9% NaCl).

After reconstitution, the injection should be added to the infusion solution aseptically immediately before starting the infusion & used within 24 hours This injection may be added to parenteral nutrition admixtures containing carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids and electrolytes, provided that compatibility' and stability have been confirmed.
